Cooling, heating and home repairs. One San Antonio company.
Cooling and heating under Texas air-conditioning license TACLB52456E; repairs and remodels of existing homes under City of San Antonio Home Improvement Contractor registration HIC-26-00132. Both are linked below so you can check them yourself. A non-commissioned team, honest baseline pricing, and no high-pressure sales.
Check the license at TDLR License Search (number 52456) · check City registrations in Contractor Connect.

Four things about your house you can check tonight.
Each one names its source and the date we read it. If we could not source it, it is not here.
San Antonio's residential code (2024 IRC Section M1401.3, adopted unamended by City Code Sec. 10-36) requires heating and cooling equipment to be sized per ACCA Manual S from building loads calculated per ACCA Manual J or another approved method.
CPS Energy requires a City permit number on every HVAC rebate application for a project completed inside San Antonio city limits.
Bexar County does not require a county building permit for single-family homes (including duplexes and triplexes) in unincorporated areas; county permits cover floodplain development, on-site sewage (septic) systems, right-of-way and driveway work, and storm-water quality.
The federal Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit (Section 25C) is not allowed for property placed in service after December 31, 2025.
Three things to check before you hire anyone — including us.
1. The state license
Texas licenses air-conditioning contractors through TDLR. Ours is license 52456 (TACLB52456E; TDLR displays it as TACLB00052456E). TDLR lists the licensed contractor of record for that number.
2. The City registration
City of San Antonio Home Improvement Contractor registration HIC-26-00132 — the registration for repairs, replacements and remodels of existing homes (City Code Sec. 10-25). It is a registration, not a trade license, and it is not the HVAC credential.
3. The permit on the last job
Which office holds the permit for your address depends on where the house sits — and in unincorporated Bexar County there is none to find for a single-family home.
The air conditioner is sized by the windows.
A house is one system. The load an air conditioner has to carry is set by the windows and which way they face, the insulation in the attic, the ducts, and the people in the rooms. A company that sees only its own ticket sizes the system by a square-footage rule of thumb, and a system sized that way usually comes out too big.
Too big is not safer. It cools the air before it dries it, so the house feels cold and clammy and the unit turns on and off all day. Why that happens, in plain words.

Four things you can check about any job — ours included.
Sized
San Antonio's code requires replacement equipment sized to a load calculation for the house (2024 IRC M1401.3, effective May 1, 2025). Ask for the calculation before you sign — from anyone.
Permitted
Ask for the permit number in writing, and where to check it. Inside city limits a CPS Energy rebate needs that number too.
Sourced
Every regulatory fact on this site names its primary source and the date we checked it.

Straight answers.
Does the maintenance plan pay for repairs?
No. It is a maintenance plan: scheduled maintenance, priority scheduling and member pricing for a stated term. It is not a warranty and not a service contract; it does not pay for repairs or replacements.
Where do you work?
Proudly serving San Antonio — including Alamo Heights, New Braunfels, Seguin and surrounding communities. Lake and ranch properties: call us.
Commercial services are available — call the office.
Do you write inspection reports for a sale?
No. We are a contractor, not a real estate inspector (Tex. Occ. Code §1102.002). We quote the cooling, heating and repair work a home needs, and we can size a replacement to the house.
